I live by the water. I’m drawn to its briskness, the way it clears your mind and fills your soul. That feeling is what I wanted to capture in this painting.

Built up over several days using both brush and silicone tools, each layer adding to the composition until the painting found its balance. I used a range of blues to capture the aliveness of the water.
