I live by the water. I’m drawn to its briskness. The way it clears your mind and fills your soul. That feeling is what this painting is about.

Built up over several days using both brush and silicone tools, each layer adding to the composition until the painting found its balance. The blues range from deep navy to pale icy tones, dark to light, still to moving. The depth and aliveness of the water, held in color.
