This painting is the first in the Lovesong series. The light pink, red oxide, taupe and white color palette are enhanced with a deep dark blue. The many layers and directions invite the viewer to look around the canvas and deeper still. The Lovesong paintings are about the strong connection between two people allowing them to be their own person while at the same time creating a unique relationship.
