MARSH

36" x 36" Acrylic on Canvas

This summer I became obsessed with the marsh. I have always appreciated its beauty but a new view was created at our little beach that has opened up a fresh perspective. This piece is part of a 3 part series which includes a 36" x 36", a 36" x 48", and a reverse glass painting. The canvas pieces started with yellow and I layered multiple colors to create a foundation for a richness and depth within the paintings. Whether or not you are familiar with this particular marsh, this piece provides a mental and emotional getaway to nature's perfect beauty.
