Some days there is no difference in color between the sea and sky. Just the horizon line splitting two areas of the same color. That’s what this painting is about.

I was in a flow state making this, absorbed in capturing the water and sky in abstract form. The texture comes from many layers of palette knife work, and the small bits of other colors showing through are intentional, there to create variation and keep the eye moving.
