My horizon lines vary between being super crisp or slightly blurry and with or without some sort of landmass in the distance. This piece has a lovely bronze bit of land off in the distance. The simple abstraction of the boats allow for soft repetitions of color blocking in the sky to add to the composition. The dark blue water is so inviting that I can feel the chill against my skin. This painting in your home will remind you of being out on the water or on the beach watching the ships go by.
