This painting process involved multiple layers of colors being applied and then removed to create the soft and airy quality of this work. All the paintings in this series evoke serenity with a sense of familiarity. Inspired by the beautiful nature surrounding me, I was compelled to capture the complexity of what appears to be simple color.
