Old Black Point is the beach where I live. I know this view by heart.

I broke my leg and couldn’t get to my studio for months. By the time I could, everything that had been building up came out in this painting. I worked with brushes and a silicone catalyst wedge, moving and layering paint across the full 48 inches in a way that felt more like release than process. This place and painting are very special to me.
